Nigerians Lambast Wizkid, Burna Boy for Promoting Their Albums Amid Davido’s Son, Ifeanyi’s Death

Nigerians on social media have called out Grammy award winners, Wizkid and Burna Boy for promoting their music albums while the country is mourning the death of their colleague, Davido Chioma Rowland’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Ifeanyi was rumoured to have died on Monday, October 31 with many skeptical about the report and insisted it’s confirmed by the family of the deseased.
Celebrities, friends cut across the world have have been sending condolences to the ‘Assurance’ crooner with several reliable source confirming the report of the sudden of demise of the late kid.
However, amid the death rumour of Ifeanyi on Monday night, Wizkid and Burna Boy ignorantly posted about their new album and tour promotion on their social media handles.

It was reported that the singers swiftly deleted the posts upon hearing the sad report of their industry colleague to mourn the demise of his son.
Netizens who had seen the posts and screenshot took to social media to call out the two afrobeat stars for making such posts while their colleagues mourn.
A Twitter user, @Ansutruth accused Wizkid of using the sad event to promote his upcoming. Another user @big_ope2 claimed that Burna Boy also made similar post but deleted after report of Ifeanyi’s death started making the rounds.


However, some users noted that both ‘Last Last’ and ‘Essence’ crooners were not aware of the incident as of the the they made their posts.
A report on Tuesday has claimed that security operatives have arrested Davido’s domestic workers who were present at the time of the incident.
