It was gathered that following the expiration of the ex service chiefs office, president Buhari had nominated them for ambassadorial appointment which he had forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.
This act of the president have been condemned by many Nigerians as they claim the ex security chiefs are not fit for those reputable positions. They noted that the ex chiefs failed to tackle insecurity that’s rocking every part of Nigeria till today.
Olainfo learnt that yesterday, the House of Senate as presided over by the Senate president, Ahmad Lawan have reportedly confirmed the names of the ex service chiefs as Ambassadors.

However, reacting to this, a controversial activist and major critic of Buhari APC led government, Prince Deji Adeyanju has blasted the Senate for their confirmation.
He made reference to the regime of Bukola Saraki being the Senate President then and how he rejected several loan request by the federal government. This present Senate have approved several loan request from Buhari which have massively increased the Nation’s debt.
“All loan requests sent to the Senate during Saraki were rejected. Not one was granted but the Rubber Stamp under Ahmed Lawan confirmed ex service chiefs as Ambassadors yesterday. These guys are a waste of space”.
