A one-term lawmaker and activist, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the news making round the internet that the AGF allegedly filed a suit against the citizenship of former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
Recall that, few days ago, there were several reports that the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami had gone to court to challenge the citizenship of Atiku Abubakar.
However, the AGF had earlier debunked the reports by some major media organizations that he filed a case before the court to challenge the citizenship of the former vice president asking the court to stop him from further participation in electoral race in Nigeria.
In a latest report, the former Kaduna lawmaker has also reacted to the report that Atiku is not a Nigerian which led to the concocted news of Malami filling a case before the court in respect of this.
While reacting via his Twitter handle, Shehu Sani clarified the doubt encompassing Atiku’s real origin. The activist reveals that people of the old Sardauna province in Adamawa state where Atiku hails from are full blooded Nigeria and can vie for any office in the country.
