JUST IN: Facebook States Reasons Why Nnamdi Kanu’s Page Was Deleted

Facebook had recently banned Nnamdi Kanu’s Official Page after his live broadcast where he acused Fulani herdsmen of killing and destroying farms in his region.

According to our source, Facebook told BBC that the page was deleted for repeated violation of its rules on harm and hate speech.

This is happening amid major insecurity challenges erupted from the fight between cattle herders and farmers in Nigeria that have lead to loss of lives and properties.

We could recalled, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu had posted a video of some members of Eastern Security Network, ESN where they attacked cattle herders in the forest and killed their cows.

Facebook spokesperson said that the company allows people users to express their mind and also want everyone to feel safe when using the website.

However, IPOB lawyer, Paul Achalla said that the ban does not affect Radio Biafra and other IPOB channels. He vowed to appeal the ban and urged their members not be discouraged.

Nnamdi Kanu’s Facebook page is the main channels he uses to communicate to thousands of his listeners and large followers across the world.
