BREAKING: Police Arraign 22 Biafrans Arrested Amid Obigbo Crisis

For more than three months after the outbreak of the Obigbo crisis in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State, 22 people who were suspected to be members of IPOB were arrested and still in Nigeria security custody till date.

The 22 suspected members of IPOB were arrested for allegedly unleashing unrest in the society as reported by Nigeria Army. The accused who were 20 men and 2 ladies were arrested and taken to police custody in Abuja since three months ago.

In a latest tweet by the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has accused the Nigeria security force of r*ping the ladies in their detention and have refused to release them since three months they were arrested.

Another report from Radio Biafra has confirmed the arraignment of the 22 suspected IPOB members in court today, 26/02/2021.

The source revealed that the 22 Biafrans has brought the numbers of Biafrans in Army and Police custody in the North to 394. They accused the military of killing three of their Biafran detainees in Niger State and two ladies in Abuja bringing the total from 399 to 394.
