Following the excesses and unlawful activities of the fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa Local Council of Oyo state, the fulani warlord who is alleged to have been the mastermind behind the killing and kidnapping in the area was arrested by the Oduduwa People’s Congress, OPC militia.
According to reports, the Fulani warlord, identified as Wakili has been allegedly responsible for kidnapping and collection of ransom from his victims over the years which no one has been able to challenge him.
He’s reportedly to be in control of herd of boys who go on operation and Kidnap people with a sole mission of collecting ransome to enrich himself.
Prior to the war declared on his kinsmen for incessant killing of farmers, abduction, r@ping and destruction of farm lands, the OPC had recently extended the war to him and his household for his contribution to the menace orchestrated by Fulani herdsmen in the society.

Wakili was arrested alongside his boys with sophisticated weapons, and in accordance to the law, he was handed over to the police. Wakili and his men were taken to the station in Ibandan by some men of OPC who were also allegedly detained by the security operatives for violating human rights.
Since the arrest, the OPC still remain in the police custody while Wakili is being given preferential treatment after attracting sympathy under the guise being blind according to report.
However, Olainfo learnt this morning that, the said OPC men have been reportedly whisked away to an unknown location by the Nigeria Police Men.
The spokesperson to the controversial Yoruba freedom activist, Sunday Igboho, Mr. Olayomi Koiki broke the news earlier today via his official Facebook page and confirmed the OPC men have been moved out of Ibandan to an unconfirmed location. According to him, they’re being charged with murder and Arson.
