In a bid to recover all looted funds in the state, the executive governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma had previously set up a panel to investigate how the state resources were used under Rochas Okorocha and his son-in-law. The panel has however found Rochas administration guilty of the corruption indictment which has now resulted to the marking of his Nwosu’s hotel for demolition.

Olainfo was informed that, the Westbrook Hotel was marked alongside other properties allegedly belonging to the former governorship aspirant in 2019, Uche Nwosu, Rochas Okorocha and his wife, Nkechi Okorocha.

However, in a previous report, Senator Hope Uzodimma had sealed off an estate belonging to the former governor, alleging that it was erected with public funds. This however, resulted to fight between Rochas and the security operatives after removing the embargo which eventually led to his arrest.
