Veteran Yoruba comic actor, Babatunde Omidina better known as Baba Suwe reportedly passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 as announced by his son, Adesola Omidina.
The actor rose to fame in early 90s for his comic roles in Yoruba movies that earned him series of awards during his life.
Adesola who broke the news on social media revealed, that Baba Suwe died in the early hours of today, Monday November 21, with details on cause of death to unfold later.

The actor was said to have been on sick bed in 2019 before other celebrity rose to his aid including vice president, Yemi Osinbajo who donated N1 million. There were also reports after the intervention that his health condition had improved until today that his death was announced.
His son, Adesola didn’t explain the cause of his death as he promised to share details later via his social media account.
