Angry Fans Intercept, Accost Super Eagles Players, Coach on Their Way to Hotel after Sunday Loss to Tunisia (Watch Video)

A tending video has revealed the moment some angry fans of Super Eagles intercepted and accosted the players and coach, Augustine Eguavoen on their way to their hotel camp after Sunday loss to Tunisia.

The Nigeria national team lost to Tunisia team on Sunday night by 1-0 to exit the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.

Super Eagles started the game with 1-0 win over Egypt followed by a 2-1 victory over Sudan and concluded the group with a 2-0 win against Guinea Bissau.

The painful defeat to Tunisia seems to have angered the supporters who intercepted the players with their boss on their way way heading to camp in the late hours of Sunday.

In the video currently making the rounds on social media, the aggrieved Nigerian fans could be seen raining abusive words on the team inside a bus while heading to camp.

The supporters could be heard, calling the Super Eagles players alongside Eguavoenz ‘mumu’ ‘f#ck you’ and all sort of abusive names for crashing out of the game.
