The music world was at a standstill last night when two Nigerian music icons spotted each other at a club last night and warmly embraced the other.
For a very long time over the past few years, there’s been a hostile rivalry between two of the country’s finest musicians, Wizkid and Davido, however, that rivalry seemed to be long lost when the duo were seen hugging each other at a club some hours ago.
It appears to be a season of reconciliation as this comes a month after twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye reunited and came back together as PSquare after five years apart.
In a video that’s now serving major rounds on social media, which is so much to the excitement of their fans who as well, have always been at loggerheads between themselves, the artistes are seen hugging themselves and wearing smiles… a rather rare occurrence that fans hope to see more often.
Their entourage and other club goers were excited and happy over the development as seen in a viral video.
Meanwhile, some netizens who reacted to the video, has called on the Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale to learn from his Nigeria counterparts instead of preaching division.
Recall that, Shatta Wale in December last year, called out Nigerian artists for not reciprocating the love and supports they get from him and other Ghanaian artists.
