Renowned activist, Aisha Yesufu has come hard on Nigerians who make ex-president Goodluck Jonathan look like a saint by sharing on social media some of his old photos where he attended the funeral of General Azazi who died in a helicopter crash during his tenure.
Not only the aforementioned photo was shared online after General Ibrahim Attahiru was laid to rest. There are other old photos of condolence visits by GEJ during his tenure still making round the social space since after Attahiru’s burial.
Nigerians have been sharing a number of old condolence visit photos of the former president to prove he has empathy for people unlike the present president. This is coming after president Muhammadu Buhari reportedly failed to attend funeral service of the late Chief of Army Staff, COAS Ibrahim Attahiru who died recently in a plane crash alongside some aides in Kaduna.
While reacting to the trend, the Bring Back Our Girls convener berates those giving credit to the former president, stating that he a caring leader who meant well for the masses. The activist made a flashback by retweeting a post shared by his his then spokesperson, Rueben Abati a day after the Nyanya bomb last and Chibok girls abduction in 2014.

The activist tried to justice her claim through the old tweet that Jonathan is not in anyway different from Buhari. According to her, this is @abati1990 a spokesperson to your now humane Jonathan, he was vile like @FemiAdesina. This here is in 2014 a day after many were killed in Nyanya bombing and #Chibok girls abducted. So what the heck are you trying to do? Change history? She asked.

“Which Jonathan are you desperately painting white? Is it the one that has Goodluck Ebele to his name or another? So by 2027 some will be showing us pictures of Buhari when he visited IDP camps and also when he broke fast with physically challenged people and call him humane? She asked.
