A Nigerian policeman has left social media users in awe after gifting road users N5,000 each in Enugu.
The cop has changed the perception of people towards the security institution in Nigeria after sharing a giveaway price of N5,000 each to people on the road.
In a trending video posted on Instagram on Friday December 24, the policeman could be seen sharing N5,000 to a tricyclist and other road users.
Contrary to the general thought that, Nigerian police is a corrupt agency known for extorting from the citizens, a yet-to-be-identified officer has given freely to the people instead of their normal extortion.
Nigerians have commended the cop for standing different amongst his colleagues in the service.
Reacting to the video, an Instagram user said; ‘Nigeria needs more of his kind so that others can learn from his conduct.”
Another user skeptically said he prays the cop doesn’t go to the road and collect back the money through usual extortion.
Sympychi_oma said; “even if na copy copy or fake him still give sha…that alone matters.”
Probably this may erase little from the memory of Nigerians of the protest against police brutal!.ty tagged ‘EndSARS” that led to the m@ss.acre of youths in October 2020.
