Human rights activist, Adeyanju Deji and #BuhariMustGo convener, Omoyele Sowore have taken to the streets of Abuja to demand the rescue of the abducted Greenfield University students.

Not less than 23 students of Greenfield University students were kidnapped by terrorists on April 20 2021. The students were kidnapped alongside some staffs of the institution in Kasarami village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Few days ago, their abductors threatened to kill the students if govenrment failes to meet the ultimatum given to pay their ransoms.

However, Yesterday, there were several reports that one the students was released on unknown condition. According to TVC News, the mother of the released student, Lauritta Attahiru refused to give account on condition her son was released.

Only one out of the 23 students and staffs kidnapped has been released so far while others languish in Bandits’custody. Ultimatum given to federal government by the bandits has elapsed and the lives of others are in danger.

Due to the fear of losing others as threatened by these terrorists, some concerned Nigrians have taken to streets of the federal capital territory to demand the rescue of others remaining in bandits captivity.

The protest tagged, #RescueGreenfieldStudents is led by the convener of #RevolutionNow Omoyele Sowore and Human Rights Activist, Adeyanju Deji. They’re on the streets of Abuja today to represent the interest of all Nigerians. Photos below 👇
