Some residents of Niger state communities have reportedly signed a peace deal with the insurgent group, Boko Haram to avoid further attacks.
Olainfo learnt that, some residents of about 65 unidentified communities in the state have resorted to negotiating and signing a peace deal with terrorists since Nigerian government can no longer guarantee their safety.
The source informed Olainfo that the residents allegedly signed a whopping N20 million peace deal to in order for the insurgents to suspend attacks on their areas so that they can live in peace and go about their daily hustle.

This is coming after several attacks on the communities that claim lives, properties and led to abduction of men and women.
The source also confirmed that, about six Honda motorcycles worth around N500,000 have been purchased by the residents for the terrorists. The residents felt the need to appease the insurgents by bribing them to allow them live in peace.

This is apparently a genuine proof that the president Muhammadu Buhari has failed in his handling of the country most especially his fight against insurgency.
Also recall that as part of efforts to curb the upsurge in attacks nationwide, the president had seek the approval of the United States to relocate Defense Command headquarters, AFRICOM to Africa to address insecurity.
