Over 10 Billion Naira Has Been Raised From Sales Of Forms, Secondus Should Give Way For New Leadership To Retool PDP – Party’s Member Says

A Peoples Democratic Party PDP member has called on the current national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus to allow a new leadership take over in order to retool the party.

The PDP member, Kassim Afegbua disclosed this during a live programme on Channels TV Politics on April 11.

The man said that, Secondus has outlived his usefulness as Chairman and should give way to more forward-looking leadership to retool the party. PDP not acting like a credible or viable opposition party, he said.

He noted that, as things stand today, PDP doesn’t have a workable bank account, they cannot clean up their books, all their accounts have been garnisheed.

From 2017 to now, over 10 billion naira has been raised from sale of forms, where is the money? I’m petitioning EFCC, he Said.

Another member on the session, Ken Okolugbo also added that, the people that should be encouraging Secondus are not doing so.

He however countered the opinion of his colleague on session, Kassim Afegbua that the blame shouldn’t be on only Secondus. He noted that the party’s falg- bearer, Atiku Abubakar is Dubai and always tweeting from there. Is he taking on the APC government? Why can’t you blame him? Why only Secondus? Ken Okolugbo questioned his colleague.

He therefore advised that they speak in one voice to do more in taking back their mandate. He suggested they can even form a shadow government.
