A Malawian police officer has allegedly r*aped a 17 years old girl while in their custody after being arrested on her way to church.
The Innocent girl (name withheld) who is a student of University of Malawi testified before a magistrate court in Blantyre on Wednesday against a police officer who she accused to have r*ped her twice in cell.

According to our source, Malawi Times confirmed the incident happened lately between December 12 and December 13 2020 while in Police cell.
The victim told the chief magistrate that the accused arrested her on her way to night prayer in her Church. She noted that, the officer accused of being a suspected criminal for walking late at night and took her to their custody where she was r*ped twice.
The case has been adjourned till further notice.
