Obadiah Mailafia Biography and Career
Obadiah Mailafia according to Wikipedia, was born on December 24, 1956 from Randa in Sanga Local Government area of Kaduna state. Mailafia’s father, Gambo Galadima was said to be an evangelist with Evangelical Reform Church of Central Nigeria.
He obtained his primary education from Musha Sudan United Mission School from 1964 to 1969 and had his secondary education at Mada Hills Secondary School in Akwanga from 1970 to 1974.
He has been a versatile person from his early days, having known as a sportsman, debate and scholar; winning the Commissioner of Education Award having emerged as the most outstanding pupil of his graduating class in 1974.
Obadiah Mailafia obtained a B.S.c in Social Sciences from Almadu Bello University, Zaria in 1978. He also had a M.S.c from the same institution.

According to the source, Mailafia started his career by two subjects which were Government and Economics at Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Arigidi-Ikare, Ondo State from 1978 to 1979. This was just part of his primary assignment during his National Youth Service Corps, NYSC year.

Mailafia was one of the presidential candidates under the platform of African Democratic Congress, ADC during the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria.
His political career was reported to have been influenced by the famous historic “handshake” by the coalition of the Middle Belt Forum, MBF, the Southern Afenifere of Yoruba land, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and PANDEF of Niger Delta.
