Nnamdi Kanu Reacts to Buhari’s Statement on Ahmed Gulak’s Death

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari’s statement on Ahmed Gulak’s death.

According to the presidency’s reaction on the murder of the ex-aide yesterday, the president said, “I’m repulsed by such premeditated and gruesome murder by evil people who are determined to undermine the peace, unity and territorial integrity of our country”.

Recall that the ex-presidential aide was murdered in Owerri, Imo state by unknown gunmen who tracked him from the hotel he lodged to Owerri on his way to the airport and shot him dead.

Several reports have emerged after his death with some linking it to IPOB while some accusing the Nigerian govenrment of being the mastermind in order to instigate inter-tribal crisis between the Hausa-Fulani and the Igbo.

While reacting to the view of the president, Kanu expressed shock and wondered how Buhari govenrment could determine in just hours that his death is related to territorial integrity of Nigeria.

According to his tweet, he described the statement as a pathetic one aimed at indicting IPOB for Gulak’s death.
