Gulder Ultimate Search organised a coronation party in Lagos where the season 12 contestants were awarded for their efforts on the show on Friday 21, 2022.
The reality TV show which had its grand finale in December 2021 was won by a young contestant, Odudu Ime Otu, after finding Akolo’s chest.
Chidimma Okeibe became the last woman standing among other men after her fellow female warriors got evicted from the jungle.
Recalled that the boomerang queen, Esitima gifted Chidimma one of her boomerangs which gave her a second chance to return to the show through voting by viewers.
Chidimma couldn’t make it back to the show due to an unknown ailment despite polling the highest number of votes. She was however replaced by Tosin who emerged the runner-up.
During the coronation party on Friday night, Chidimma was presented the “last woman standing” award by the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism.
In a video the contestant posted on her Instagram page @chidimmaokeibe, the commissioner, Mrs Akinbile Yusuf could be seen presenting the award with N2 million in addition to a N1.5 million worth of cash prize she had received earlier.
