A Nigerian lady has lamented the poor state of the little airports and unvailability of world standard one in the whole South East region.
The lady identified as Juliet Kego expressed disheartening as the region she hails from cannot boast of an airport that can compete world standard despite the economic benefits of the region to the government of Nigeria. It’s so much for people that live and excel in all parts of the world, she said.
Juliet took to her Twitter handle to share her experience and perception after visiting Ebonyi and South Eastern states over the years. She commended the great works of Ebonyi for government on infrastructures and education and heath being implemented with a low budgetary allocation unlike other states in South East.
She also noted that the Ebonyi Airport under construction, would outshine the Enugu airport being renovated by the federal government and the cargo airport being built by Anambra State government. She is judging from the quality of malls, roads and schools being built in Ebonyi by Governor Dave Umahi.
She however called for need to develop each region of the country to show that it’s possible to live like human beings and not this crudity and animal-like existence.
