JUST IN: Reactions as Nigerians Loot Peter Obi’s ‘ Next Cash and Carry’ Supermarket Currently on Fire in Abuja (Video)

Video making rounds on social media has shown a disgracing moment Nigerians loot items from the Next Cash and Carry supermarket currently on fire in Abuja.

Chennels TV had earlier reported a fire outbreak at the supermarket owned by former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi on Sunday December 26.

The report stated that, the mall which is located in the Jahi area of Abuja went up in flames around 10am today.

The cause of the fire still remain sketchy at the time of filing this report.

However, in a trending video shared on Instagram by Gistmilltv, a number of Nigerians could be seen looting items from the burning mall.

Despite millions of naira being lost as a result of the outbreak, Nigerians living in the federal capital city have stormed the flaming supermarket on Sunday afternoon to loot items.

According to the source, they are still on the looting spree at the time of filing this report with no presence of security operatives to stop them.

Netizens who reacted to the video have attributed the looting to the high rate poverty amogst in the citizens, noting that, the government should be blamed.
