JUST IN: Polytechnic Students Reportedly Kidnapped By Unknown Gunmen in Rivers

Report reaching Olainfo desk this afternoon has it that some bus passengers reported to be students of a Polytechnic have been kidnapped in Rivers State, Nigeria.

According to our source, City News Port Harcourt reported that the bus conveying the students of Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori was attacked by some unknown gunmen enroute Port Harcourt yesterday

This incident happened yesterday after the students embarked on a trip from Bori to Port Harcourt and was attacked with all the students abducted.

Olainfo also learnt that, the abductors have contacted the family of the victims and have requested 2 million naira ransom for each before they regain freedom.

However, the report did not specify the number of students kidnapped, and the spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Nnamdi Omoni has claimed he’s not aware of the report after being contacted.
