JUST IN: Journalists Covering The Abducted Jangebe Girls’ School Attacked by Angry Youths, Teacher Confirms 550 Students Were Kidnapped

In the early hours of today, Nigerians were waken to another sad report of an abduction of school girls by unknown gunmen at Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

According to one of the teachers of the school who confirmed the report, said that close to 550 students are missing contrary to figures reported by some Nigeria news media.

The teacher told Daily Trust that out of 600 students of the school, only 50 were left behind totaling the numbers abducted to 550.

A latest report reaching our desk this afternoon says that some team of journalist who visited the scene of the abduction at Jangebe have been reportedly attacked by some angry youths of the community.

However, Olainfo learnt that the angry youths who were protesting the abduction allegedly attacked the journalists. More details later
