President Muhammadu Buhari has received Femi Fani-Kayode today in Abuja as he formerly joins the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Media aide to the President, Femi Adesina who took to his Facebook page this evening confirmed that Femi was received by President Buhari today in the State House as he officially joins the APC.
Vanguard also reports that, the former Aviation minister was presented to the President by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC and governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni today, Thursday 16, 2021.
According to the source, Femi revealed that his defection to APC today was an order from God, claiming that he was led by the spirit of God to join APC and help consolidate the unity of Nigeria, adding that he is totally against division of the country.

He revealed that he was one the instruments that influenced the exit of three PDP governors from the opposition party to APC.
The governors he mentioned were Ben Ayade of Cross River, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and Bello Matawale of Ebonyi State respectively.
He also said that he has many friends across the party line and he is keen on convincing them to defect to APC. He mentioned governor of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State to be on the list of friends he is currently wooing.
