As Nigerians prepare for the massive demonstration across the country which is slated to hold today, June 12, 2021, venues for today’s June 12 protest where Nigerians in diaspora would participate have been released.
The June 12 demonstration within Nigeria is expected to take place in every part of the country as they mark Democracy Day for the year 2021.
Some states have yesterday banned the June 12 protest, noting that any protester sighted in the street would be arrested and prosecuted.
Every June 12 is set to mark Democracy Day in Nigeria and this year’s celebration has come along with protest over inability of the present administration to fulfill its political promises.
The June 12 protest was which will hold today was initiated by the “Buhari Must Go” convener Omoyele Sowore, former president candidate for AAC and publisher of Sahara Reporters.
