Former of Director of the Department of State Service DSS, Mr. Dennis Amachree has revealed in live video how the controversial minister of communication Isa Pantami scaled through the screening stage to head his ministry despite his past records.
Since the minister was placed on terror watchlist by the US government for having a strong allegiance with world deadly terrorist groups Al-Qaeda and Taliban, several reports on his past life have been rooted out to justify the claim.
Here comes another evidence by the former Director of the DSS who claims that no information in Nigeria go behind the Department of State Service. He noted that, the department keeps catalog of people that comes to limelight especially people who vie for any political or government appointment in the country.

He said that before anybody can be appointed to any position, the name of the person is first sent to DSS and they’ll do a thorough verification of the person’s profile and background.
He added that with the help of the Internet, the job has got more easier and confirmed that the security agency already had Pantami’s terror allegiance data before he was confirmed by lawmakers as fit for his appointment.
He further revealed that, when a person is being appointed, the security agency will send his data to the appointing agency if they found out there’s something wrong with the person’s profile but it’s left for the appointing agency to decide whether to uphold the appointment or reverse it.
However, Nigrians have been expressing fear over the negligence of the federal government to take action since the break of the news. As a result of this, some citizens have accused the government of supporting and promoting terrorism in the country for keeping mum. Watch video below 👇
