Yabaleft earlier reports, that a politician in Adamawa state has been making rounds on internet after he was seen allegedly giving N1,000 scholarship to tertiary institution students in viral pictures.

The man has been under fire since pictures revealing the disgracing and laughable moment surfaced on social media.

In the pictures, some students reported to be students of higher institution in Yola, were seen collecting N1,000 each from the man.

The politician seen in viral pictures on Wednesday, November 24, sharing N1,000 to students as scholarship is the member of House of Assembly representing Mayo Belwa constituency in Adamawa state, Nigeria.

Name of Politician Giving N1,000 Scholarship to Students in Adamawa

The politician is identified as Hon Ibrahim Musa Italiya, the Minority Whip of the Seventh Assembly who hails from Mayo Belwa, Adamawa state.

The alleged students in the viral pictures are members of his constituency who happen to be students of Federal College of Education, FCE.

Sahara Reporters confirms, that the honourable shared N1,000 notes to the students as scholarship after their pictures went viral on social media.
