On Wednesday evening, veteran Nollywood actress, Iyabo Oko also known as Apoti Aje was pronounced d*ad.
According to The Nation Newspaper, her colleague, Foluke Daramola took to her Instagram page to announce the dem!se of the 62-year-old actress.
Foluke who broke the news on social media, claimed Iyabo Oko’s daughter who is also a Nigerian soldier, Bisi Aisha told her that her mother d!ed in hospital in the late hours of Wednesday 5, 2021.
The report of her d*ath came as sh0ck to her colleagues in the industry and lovers after making the rounds on reputable news platforms.
Recall that, in 2021, there were rumours that, the actress had d!ed after battling with a d*adly desease which her last child, Oduola Olamide debunked via Instagram.
Apoti Aje has been battling with ill-health which caused her to take a long break from the movie scene.
Last year, Olamide disclosed that her mother was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke about five years ago but kept her health issues away from the public.
Contrary to the viral report on Wednesday that Iyabo Oko d!ed yesterday, Olainfo has just learnt that, the actress is still alive.
Foluke who announced on Instagram yesterday has taken to his page again to confirmed that the Yoruba actress has come back to life again.
According to her, her daughter told her via WhatsApp chat that her mother moved her hand again hours after confirmed d*ad.
