Shazam is a musical app that can figure out music or TV shows by listening to a snippet of the audio, display more details and sharing options upon identifying a song or TV show.

Shazam works more like magic. It takes the app few seconds to identify any music you are listening to. It is also possible to activate Siri on any Apple device and direct Shazam to figure out the source and every relevant information about the song that’s being played.
These are what Shazam reveals whenever you tap on the app logo:
When you tap on the logo, it creates digital fingerprint of any audio it picks from your microphone and then match the digital fingerprint to a database that contains millions of music tracks or TV shows. Once it identifies a match, Shazam app will display every information about the song like the name of the song and the artiste. Lyrics, sharing options are also part of the information Shazam will reveal to you.

Another interesting feature of Shazam app is the “Auto Shazam”. This feature allows the app to automatically identify songs or TV shows playing around you even when you’re active on other apps.
