Buhari is Determined to Complete Every Inherited Abandoned Project – FG

The government of Nigeria has again reassured Nigerians that president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is committed and determined to completing every inherited abandoned project across the country.

Tolu Ogunlesi, Special Adviser to the president on Digital and New media disclosed this while reacting to the report of a wind farm that was just completed by the Buhari administration.

The contract which was awarded by the previous regime in 2009 has now taken a full shape as it’s now completed by President Buhari. The project was aimed at generating 10MW of power in Rimi Local Government Area of Katsina State is reportedly set for commissioning.

The SA who gave this remark via his social media handle, said that, one of the mission of this administration is to ensure completion of all abandoned projects by the previous administration.

However, many Nigrians do not see anything spectacular in President Buhari’s policy as most of his achievements are always credited to the previous government for being the initiator.

Governmen they say, it’s continuity and Olainfo has learnt that, this policy would fast track the growth of a nation and reduce the numbers of uncompleted projects across the country. It’s better to complete the abandoned ones than to initiate new ones when we’re not sure they’ll all be completed to avoid having uncontrollable numbers of abandoned projects.
