Brendan Rodgers is Keen on a Reunion with Arsenal Defender

Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers wants to reunite with Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney this summer, and there are reports that other teams are interested as well.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been linked with a summer transfer for the Scottish left-back, and the Foxes boss is reportedly willing to try his hand at having Tierney play under him again, as he did at Celtic.

90 Min also alleges that Leicester tried to sign him in 2020, when his injuries and form were being questioned after only a year in north London, and that any indication that Arsenal could cash in on him would see Rodgers charge his team with making that happen.

Thankfully, Arsenal decided to extend his contract just last summer, securing his future at the Emirates with a new long-term deal, and I can’t fathom any club wanting to pay what he is worth to us.

Even though Nuno Tavares had impressed earlier in the season, Tierney’s absence was evident, not just in terms of skill but also in terms of leadership, and I believe it is more possible that KT will be named captain of Arsenal this summer rather than being moved, particularly to Leicester…

How much would clubs have to give if Arsenal set a price for Tierney before we would even consider letting him go?
