Ben Murray-Bruce Pays For Yet To Be Manufactured Electric Car, Urges Nigerian Government To Ban Combustion Cars By 2035 (Photos)

Founder of the renowned Television station, Silverbird, Ben Murray-Bruce has reportedly paid for a yet to be manufactured electric car which is to be delivered next year.

Murray-Bruce who is popularly known as the advocate of “Common Sense” has again shown to Nigerians that he really practices what he preaches as he shares look alike photos of an electric car he recently paid for.

The former lawmaker, has been a staunch advocate of made in Nigeria products and sharing of ideas on how to grow Nigeria’s economy over the years has again proved to his fellow citizens that he’s a true advocate of what he preaches.

Murray-Bruce who shared the photos via his Twitter handle claimed he has recently deposited certain amount on the car and would be delivered early 2022. He further revealed that, the Lucid electric car is capable of running more miles per charge than a Tesla.

He described it as an amazing machine and urged Nigeria government to ban the use of all combustion engine cars by 2035 in order to combat #ClimateAction.

However, series of reactions have trailed the tweet as several Twitter users said it will be too expensive to afford and the quality of roads in Nigeria do not fit the car as every major road is in a deplorable state.
