“Any Attack on Any Igbo Will Not be Tolerated”- Sunday Igboho Blows hot as “I am Igbo Too” Trends on Twitter

Yoruba separationist, Chief Sunday Igboho has joined the trending hashtag #IamIgboToo on Twitter as he vows not to tolerate any attack on any Igbo person across the country.

This is coming after president Muhammadu Buhari made an inciting tweet threatening the people of South East of Nigeria to unleash what he learnt during the civil war that claimed the lives of many Biafrans.

The president uncivil statement tweeted on Tuesday evening spanked outrage and has been getting series of critics in Nigeria and every parts of the world.

Less than 24 hours the statement had gone round the social space with series of condemnation, the management of the social network has reportedly deleted the controversial tweet calling for war on Igbo people.

However, the inciting tweet aroused emotions and love from non-Igbo Nigerians as they declare support for the entire Igbo race by trending “I am with Igbo too” 2021 hashtag on Twitter. Punch reported that, the campaign was launched by Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga who also urged every concerned citizen to join.

“Each Time Buhari Speaks to Fulani, He Begs Them but Threatens Us with War” – Sunday Igboho

Sunday Igboho who also showed his support vowed to repel any attack on any Igbo person in the country amid the controversies. He disclosed this via his Twitter page some minutes ago. His tweet reads;

“Buhari would pamper bandits, Fulani herdsmen, terrorists with chocolates and candy then turn around to threaten other citizens.

“Any attack on any Igbo will not be tolerated. I feel bad when I see poor helpless people, being slain in the South East, they are also my brothers and sisters. We are all human.

“I am a Yoruba man, any attack on an Igbo is an attack on Nigerians. No Nigerian is more Nigerian than any Nigerian. pass it on, he stated.
