Adamu Garba Fails to Show Up in Court for Lawsuit He Filed against Twitter CEO for Promoting #EndSARS Protest

Following the unrest caused by the #EndSARS protest in Nigeria, former Nigerian presidential asp1irant Adamu Garba had reportedly filed a lawsuit of $ 1billion against Twitter CEO for his role in #EndSARS protest.

Garba accused Jack Dorsey of promoting the #EndSARS and #EndPoliceBrutality protest that caused unrest and destruction of properties in some part of the country. Garba said, Jack Dorsey was the reason the protest got exercabated after using his platform to promote the trend.

However, the court is expected to have his first sitting today which the accuser and the defendant are required to appear before the court. A legal practitioner who happens to be counsel to Twitter, Tope Akintoye has tweeted via his handle to announce the outcome of the court sitting.

Tope revealed in his tweet that, that the accuser, Adamu Garba failed to appear in court today which forced the judge to adjourn the case to 22nd April, 2021.
