Popular Nigerian activist, prince Deji Adeyanju has called the members and executives of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for not coming out to criticize the APC government maladministration and their approach towards the #EndSARS protest and LekkiShooting.
Deji who’s is major critic of president Buhari administration has described the PDP as a weak party for not using the weakness and incompetence of APC government to show play a full role of opposition.
He noted APC was a strong and active opposition during their time. They were able to unsit PDP from power after using their weakness and poor governance to gain support from the masses, but seems PDP is a useless opposition.
Reacting to this, some people claimed PDP is one the reasons #EndSARS protest was staged because they are one the architects of poor governance and police brutality, so many atrocities were committed under their watch. So they may be afraid to speak to avoid angry Nigerians descending on them.

According to Adeyanju’s statement which shared via his social media timeline, Deji said;
i have no single interest in politics. Deji Adeyanju is not a coward. If i want to be involved in politics, i will go and join APC, PDP or any other party. Nobody can beat me. I’m my own master. All we are just saying is let the politicians do opposition. Is that too much to ask? How can PDP be such a useless opposition? Was this how APC became opposition?
