Youths Apprehend 10-year-old Suspected Kidnapper and informant at Eligbolo
A 10-year-old boy was on Wednesday apprehended by vigilant youths of Eligbolo community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area after he was caught attempting to carry a 4-year-old pupil away from a private school in the area.
The boy who has been handed over to the Police alongside his mother also led the youths to a waiting vehicle with it’s occupants who he, according to an eyewitness account, usually supply hijacked kids to.
According to an eyewitness, the boy who is said to be popular in the area as he sells satchel water, confessed that he has been into the business for a while and that he receives N100k for each child he supplies to his payers.

He could not however say what the kids are used for, an eyewitness told Olainfo, but he was able to lead the youths to his employer who was reportedly sitting and waiting by his Camry Spider.
Eyewitnesses told Olainfo that the irate youths swooped on the man without questioning and inflicted injuries on him.
“By the time the police arrived, he was in such a bad state they had to move him to the hospital first before interrogation,” another eyewitness said.
When contacted, Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Nnamdi Omoni said he was yet to be briefed about the development.
